Music games are very popular these days due to the great entertainment value that they have, giving people the chance to play songs alongside family and friends, and due to the ever increasing song library, which is renewed every week through DLC.

Harmonix continues to keep its Rock Band franchise in the spotlight as it has just announced the songs that will appear in the Wii Rock Band Store for its latest title, Rock Band 2. The company already revealed the lineup of tracks for the bigger consoles, the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and has now brought last week's lineup for these consoles to the smaller Wii.

Rock Band 2 owners will have a chance to play songs from bands like Journey, Pat Benatar, Foo Fighter or Oasis. More casual owners will certainly enjoy the fact that tracks from the soundtrack of the popular Nickelodeon cartoon SpongeBob SquarePants will also appear this week.

Here is the complete lists of tracks that will appear in the Wii Rock Band 2 Music Store.

Journey “Don’t Stop Believing” Pat Benatar “Heartbreaker” The Von Bondies “C’mon C’mon” Glasvegas “Geraldine” Foo Fighters “DOA” Foo Fighters “This is a Call” Foo Fighters “Times Like These” Oasis “Rock ‘n’ Roll Star” Spongebob Squarepants “The Best Day Ever Song” Spongebob Squarepants “Where’s Gary?” Spongebob Squarepants “I Can’t Keep My Eyes Off of You”

As always, the tracks are all original master recordings, and will cost you 2 dollars or 200 Wii Points back for each and every one of them you decide to purchase for your own copy of Rock Band 2. Hopefully, the team at Harmonix will continue to provide Wii rockers with great tracks in the weeks to come so that they can enjoy a great musical experience with this game.
