One YouTube user synced audio from the official trailer for Chris Nolan's “The Dark Knight Rises” with scenes from the Disney animation “The Lion King.”The result is called “The Lion King Rises” and could very well function as a standalone trailer – yes, it's that well edited and pieced together.
What's even better – and which actually makes this mashup stand apart from others of the kind – is that it manages to make the characters from “The Lion King” stand in for those in TDKR without feeling forced.
The faux trailer already has over 74,000 hits on YouTube (at the time of writing) but we feel it deserves more.
