The clock is ticking on the release of the video for Britney Spears’ first single off the “Femme Fatale” album, the record-breaking “Hold It Against Me.” With only hours to go, below is a 30-second preview of the video.

Premiered just shortly ago, the 30-second preview confirms what Britney and her team had been saying all along, even before she had completed work on it: it will be insane.

As soon as Britney started work on the video, her team promised fans that it will include lots of crazy costumes and, most importantly, lots of energetic dance moves.

The preview doesn’t show much by means of the concept behind the video, but it does confirm that both of the above will be included: fiery dance routines and crazy fashion.

At the same time, there’s no denying that the video will spare no effort in being quite a spectacle, a frenzy of images. After all, it has the famous Jonas Åkerlund, who previously worked with Madonna and Lady Gaga, at the helm, as MTV News reports.

“[Choreographer Brian] Friedman also said the collaboration between Spears and Åkerlund was a match made in heaven, and in spite of the director’s past with Lady Gaga, he confirmed there was no sign of Gaga in this video,” MTV also says.

According to Friedman, the video for “Hold It Against Me” is the beginning of Britney’s journey to reclaim her throne as the Princess of Pop, granted she ever lost it in the first place.

“She’s showing that you have to push it as an artist: that you can’t just settle, that you can’t be calm with your choreography, that you have to make a statement,” he says for MTV.

“There’s so many people out there competing in this world to be the queen of pop, and she’s definitely claiming her throne,” Friedman adds.

Below is the 30-second preview of the video. Watch it, enjoy and, of course, keep an eye out here for when the full video drops.
