14 DAY TRIAL // Nadya Suleman has certainly had more than a fair share of money problems, but those expecting her to have learned her lesson are about to be disappointed. After failing to pay the mortgage for the past 3 months, Octomom wants to sell the La Habra house she and her 14 kids have been living in.
However, she wants to sell it before the bank seizes it. Moreover, she argues that the house is in such a poor condition that she shouldn’t even be paying mortgage for it.
TMZ got a hold of a video shot inside Suleman’s house and which she’s reportedly using to argue that her landlord is stiffing her with the $3,500 (2,585 Euros) a month mortgage.
In other words, unable to meet the monthly payments, Suleman has decided to cut her losses and sell the house before the bank puts it in foreclosure.
“A rep for Nadya Suleman tells TMZ, she hasn’t paid her mortgage in three months because she doesn’t want to live there anymore — and the place is scheduled for foreclosure next week,” TMZ says.
“According to the rep, Octo’s going to try to sell the home before the bank takes it – but if she fails, c’est la vie, Nadya just wants to get the hell out of there. Credit score be damned,” the e-zine adds.
The publicist says that Suleman recently had the house appraised at $500,000 (369,195 Euros), which would be a very good deal if she weren’t up to her neck in debt – or to the tune of $450,000 (332,275 Euros), to be more exact.
“Nadya’s list of grievances is endless – but the rep tells us, Octo simply can’t justify the $3,500-a-month mortgage payments, especially when the place is in utter disrepair,” the e-zine adds.
However, the video makes it very clear that whatever damage has been done to the house has been done by her 14 children, which doesn’t explain how come she’s blaming the landlord for it.
