Victoria Beckham Makes First Public Appearance Since Giving Birth

Victoria Beckham welcomed her fourth child, daughter Harper Seven, into the world at the beginning of last month, and she’s gone “in hiding” ever since. The other day, Victoria was first pictured out and about since giving birth – and since word got out she had a slipped disc.

Since the only way fans could see Victoria was by going on her or on David’s Twitter / Facebook page to look at the couple of photos uploaded there, there’s been much speculation as to why she wouldn’t come out in public.

Some believed, for instance, that she was trying to lose the weight she’d gained while pregnant (meaning, about 22 pounds), while others said she was just using the time she had off work to enjoy being a mommy again.

Over the weekend, word got out that she was also suffering from a back condition, a slipped disc, believed to have been caused by her never-ending love of high heels, which she didn’t give up even when she was heavily pregnant.

Things seem to have changed, though, the Daily Mail points out. For her first public outing, the singer and fashion designer chose flats – something she would have probably never done had it not been for her back condition, as fans must know.

“She is never normally pictured without her high heels, full make-up and immaculately coiffed hair,” the Mail writes.

“But a slipped disc means Victoria Beckham has had to forgo glamour for comfort and has been ordered to wear flat shoes to help ease her pain,” adds the tabloid.

“Wearing dark glasses, a plain green dress, and black cardigan Posh Spice appeared to have lost much of the baby weight she gained appearing as slim as ever but a world away from her image as a polished fashionista,” the Mail further says.

Indeed, Victoria seems to be back to her pre-pregnancy figure, being able again to squeeze into the tiniest dress sizes – her own creations, of course.

That should put rumors that she’s on a strict diet to “get her figure back” to rest.
