Mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless is reportedly gearing up for the release of some highly appealing new devices on its airwaves, including LTE-enabled smartphones from HTC and LG.

We have already learned that the wireless operator is preparing for the release of an LG Cayman and a DROID Fighter, but it appears that these are not the only new phones for the company’s clients.

There will also be a DROID Incredible 4G smartphone available for Big Red’s customers in the not too distant future, although nothing has been officially confirmed on the matter for the time being.

The device is said to be none other than the previously rumored HTC Fireball smartphone, while being set to feature a back plate similar to the one available on its predecessor.

It will also pack the Verizon logo on the front, as well as appealing features and capabilities, courtesy of a powerful 1.2GHz dual-core application processor.

The specifications list of this device is also said to include 1GB of RAM, a Super AMOLED touchscreen display of unknown size, an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and a VGA camera on the front, great for video calling.

The new mobile phone is expected to hit the market with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on board.

In addition to this 4G smartphone, Verizon should add to its offering the aforementioned LG Cayman, which has been confirmed via a leaked document to be slated for a March 29th release. The handset should arrive on the market as LG Lucid 4G.

Additionally, there should be a new color version of DROID RAZR released on Verizon’s network, namely a blue flavor. No specific info on when it might become available for purchase has emerged until now, but chances are that Verizon will announce more on it in the near future.

The wireless services provider has yet to confirm official details on all of the aforementioned devices, so keep an eye on this space.
