Verizon Wireless is reportedly gearing up for the release of new Android-based handsets on its network, and two new names popped up in a recent leak.

In the not too distant future, the company is expected to bring to the market a so called DROID Fighter handset, along with an LG Cayman.

Both of them have been just spotted in a document that leaked over at Droid-life, but specific info on what they are hasn’t made it to the web.

DROID Fighter could easily prove to be the same HTC Fighter handset that has leaked before under the name of Fireball, since the leaked doc does not mention whether it comes from HTC, Motorola, or Samsung.

As for the LG Cayman, Droid-life suggests that it could be a low-end device, since it will hit the market soon after the launch of LG Spectrum. The latter, however, is now $100 cheaper at Verizon.
