February 3rd, 2011, 3:00 AM EST. Starting with that very moment, existing Verizon customers would be able to place pre-orders for the Apple iPhone 4, the carrier notes on the special page it has put up on its website, which also features a counter.

A little less than five days remain until then, and those who have long waited for Verizon to launch the Apple iconic device can head over to the said page on the operator's website here to see how much time they have left to make the final preparations for the event.

We already knew that the wireless carrier would have the iPhone available for pre-order for its users starting with that day, but specific info on the exact moment when that would happen was not previously available.

Following a week of pre-order availability, the iPhone 4 would become generally available for purchase on Verizon's airwaves on February 10th, meaning that both existing and new customers to the carrier would have the opportunity to acquire the device.

We already had the chance to take a look at the monthly plans that Verizon might have in store for its iPhone customers, but, in case there are some who might have missed the previous report on the matter, they will find more info below.

Apparently, the full list of monthly plans that iPhone 4 purchasers would be able to chose from Verizon include:

Voice

450 minutes/month: $39.99 900 minutes/month: $59.99 Unlimited minutes/month: $69.99

Messaging

Pay per use: $0.20 per SMS, $0.25 per MMS 250 messages/month: $5 500 messages/month: $10 Unlimited messaging: $20

Data

Unlimited data: $29.99 Unlimited data with 2GB for Personal Hotspot and tethering: $49.99 ($20 per GB for overages) The most notable entries on this list include the $20 per month option for unlimited messaging, which is not available for other smartphone users at Big Red, or the $20 fee for 2GB of data for Personal Hotspot and tethering, which adds to the unlimited data plan of $29.99 per month Verizon offers.

This data option is the same as for other smartphones at the wireless carrier, but it is something that AT&T's users did not have access to before (they were able to enjoy tethering within a the same limit of 2GB of data that was imposed by the monthly plan).

Two iPhone 4 models would be put on sale at Verizon in less than two weeks from now, a 16GB flavor that costs $199 on contract, and a 32GB variant priced at $299 on contract. Free of contract, they would cost $649.99 and $749.99, respectively.
