Today, mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless went official with a new Android-based device on its 4G LTE network, namely the DROID INCREDIBLE 4G LTE by HTC.

This is the twenty-third 4G LTE-enabled device to hit shelves at Verizon, capable of a great experience for the operator’s customers, regardless of whether they are looking for fast connectivity or advanced smartphone functions.

The new device was designed with high-quality photo and audio capabilities, which are complemented by the aforementioned 4G LTE capabilities and great software.

The smartphone runs under Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and features the Sense 4.0 UI on top of it.

According to Verizon, “the new DROID INCREDIBLE 4G LTE brings a sophisticated, pocket-friendly device to America’s fastest 4G LTE network.”

The specs list of this device includes a 4-inch super LCD qHD display, complemented by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor and support for up to 32GB of external storage space.

Moreover, the new device features an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash, BSI, f/2.2 and 28 mm lens and a front camera for video calling.

It also provides users with Mobile Hotspot capabilities, so that they could share 4G LTE connection with up to 10 Wi-Fi-enabled devices. The handset is powered by a 1,700 mAh lithium ion removable battery.

“DROID INCREDIBLE 4G LTE by HTC features Beats Audio which is enabled across the entire experience for a rich and authentic sound whether customers watch a YouTube video, play a game, or stream music over 4G LTE,” Verizon notes.

“Beats Audio allows customers to listen to music the way the artist intended with thundering bass, soaring midrange and crisp highs.”

Other features of the new mobile phone include HTC Video Pic to enable users snap photos while shooting a video, along with sharing capabilities over email, social networks and more.

The phone will arrive with various customization options as well, enabling users to easily place shortcuts to apps and services on the homescreen.

“A Read Later feature allows people short on time the ability to save browser content like news articles and websites that can be viewed later, even while offline,” Verizon continues.

“The smartphone is also NFC capable so customers can take advantage of Android Beam to quickly share Web pages, apps, contacts and YouTube videos with friends by simply tapping two compatible phones together.”
