14 DAY TRIAL // Vanessa Hudgens is going for a new look: the “High School Musical” star, who recently broke up from longtime beau Zac Efron, got inked in LA just recently. The photo attached to this article is the tattoo in question.
The news first broke on Twitter, with one of Vanessa’s friends bragging about how she’d convinced the actress to get a tattoo.
“Please dont blame me.. But i may have convinced Vanessa hudgens to get a tattoo… [sic],” Ruby tweeted.
Radar Online now has confirmation that, indeed, the actress got inked: and it all went down in the tattoo parlor owned by BangBang, tattoo artist to the stars.
The e-zine has a photo of BangBang working on Vanessa and also another one with the tattoo in question: a butterfly placed almost at the nape.
“Vanessa Hudgens got tattooed by renowned artist BangBang, and Radar Online has the pictures for you,” says the e-zine.
“The gorgeous 22-year-old High School Musical star, who’s dated her dreamy co-star Zac Efron, kept her head down as the artist inked a beautiful butterfly on the back of the starlet’s neck,” Radar writes.
“BangBang, who is based in Manhattan, has also done work on Rihanna,” the e-zine notes. His name got a lot of media attention after he did for her a little gun tat on her ribcage shortly after she was assaulted by then-boyfriend Chris Brown.
Other Disney stars to have gotten new tattoos just recently include Miley Cyrus, who unveiled a dreamcatcher on her ribcage on a recent public outing.
This piece is her fifth and it’s meant to represent her four siblings – the dreamcatcher will protect them, a friend of hers told the media at the time, as we also informed you.
“It’s a picture of the dreamcatcher that hangs over her bed with four feathers to represent her four brothers and sisters,” the friend said.
“The dreamcatcher is to protect them,” she added.
