Upgraded Version of Gran Turismo HD Released

Apparently, there is a new version of the Gran Turismo HD demo in the PlayStation Store just waiting for you to download it. An official confirmation is not out yet, nor some word on what's changed. Rumor has it that it will have some glitches from the first version. But hey, it's free so why don't you get on with the download?

Gran Turismo HD was first known as Vision Grand Turismo, and was supposed to be the first installment in the Gran Turismo series
to be released on the PlayStation 3. Ferrari, Porsche and Lamborghini were supposed to debut in the GT series with HD, but I guess we will get to see them in Gran Turismo 5. You probably know by now (if you read the Softpedia Games news regularly -and you should) that Gran Turismo was supposed to be a full-pledged next-gen title, but instead it was turned into a lousy demo...

Many of you might say that Gran Turismo is the most realistic racing simulator out there, but I have to remind you of Forza Motorsport, game that soon will get a sequel. What bugs me about Gran Turismo is that there is no car damage. If you crash your car into a wall, it doesn't explode and you can't see any damage done to it. I know that this is due to licensing agreements but what's a racing sim without damage? Where's the thrill of driving with your windshield busted?
