Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception is set to deliver enough reasons to make many gamers buy 3DTVs in order to thoroughly enjoy the upcoming PlayStation 3 game.

Uncharted 3 was announced at the end of last year and, since then, we've been receiving a lot of details about the game currently in development at Naughty Dog and set to be published by Sony.

Now, during an ample piece featured by Edge magazine, via CVG, we hear that Uncharted 3, which is going to feature support for stereoscopic 3D, will make plenty of players go out and purchase 3DTVs in order to enjoy the game.

"People are only going to buy 3D when there's awesome stuff in 3D. We're making the awesome stuff that'll drive people to adopt that technology," said Uncharted 3 Lead Designer, Jacob Minkoff.

While the set pieces and gameplay moments are certain to amaze many gamers, Naughty Dog Creative Director, Amy Hennig, also revealed that the real life actors play an important role in making the characters in the game feel alive.

"It's huge. This is a collaborative process that involves revision and improvement. Going through those drafts, having rehearsal time and table reads with the actors, letting them improvise and get to know their characters over a long period of time, it all contributes to raising the bar."

Uncharted 3 will no doubt be one of the biggest games of this year, as Naughty Dog is trying to deliver not just an immersive single-player experience, once again focusing on protagonist Nathan Drake, alongside fellow adventurers like Victor Sullivan or Elena Fisher, but also a top-notch multiplayer mode.

We learned the first details about the online mode last month, when Naughty Dog showcased a lot of information about it, as well as the news that a multiplayer beta stage is going to appear next month.

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception is scheduled to appear exclusively for the PlayStation 3 on November 1, this year, so you'd better start saving up for that 3DTV until then.
