As it’s currently preparing for the big release of the “This Is It” docu-film and the accompanying 2-CD album, the Michael Jackson Estate is also working on the release of two new albums. Written and recorded sometime in the time interval 2004-2009, the never before heard tracks are all said to be “class A,” as TMZ informs.

Speculation about the unreleased tracks that Michael left behind after his tragic and sudden death in June this year first started shortly afterwards, when the Estate began inquiries into his affairs. First, reports had it that he had over 100 complete songs in his possession at the time of death, which would have been more than enough for two whole albums. Later on, rumors said sister LaToya Jackson had removed the finished tracks from Michael’s home, but nothing was heard of that later.

Now the rumors emerge again, and they say all tracks now in the possession of the Estate are much better than the recently released “This Is It” single. “Sources who have heard the unreleased recordings of Michael Jackson say there are at least 2 albums worth of class A songs that will be released over time, and some of them are even better than ‘This Is It.’ We're told many of the songs that will make the cut were written and recorded by Jackson after he left Sony in 2004.” TMZ writes of the recent rumors.

According to the same unnamed but reliable sources, the celebrity gossip website / paparazzi agency can also report that, while there are countless other MJ songs better than “This Is It,” releasing it as the first posthumous single was a business decision given its tone and lyrics. “As for ‘This Is It’ – we’re told everyone involved liked the tune but it wasn’t the best. As one source said, given the title and the tone, ‘It was the most appropriate song for the end of the movie’.” TMZ further explains.

As fans must already know, “Michael Jackson’s This Is It” docu-film, comprised of footage shot during rehearsals at Staples Center for his London comeback, arrives in theaters for a limited run on October 28. The 2-CD boxset “Michael Jackson’s This Is It The Music That Inspired the Movie” will be released a day earlier, on the 27th.

This will be fantastic. This is it is a great song but the only problem is it makes me want more, alot more and it looks like we're going to get it.

Its obvious it was released because of the name. What gets me is MJ was apparently going to release a single for the concerts, this was announced before he died. Where is that single????

WHY are SONY not releasing tracks that fans have been clamouring for for over 20 years - the BAD TOUR Wembley stadium concert for example - we only have teaser snippets to listen to like at:

anyone who says michael could not perform the 50 concerts. How would you know? He was fit, strong and healthy. He only died because of the drugs he was taking, drugs that should only be administered under very close supervision, not at home with a general practitioner. Now this is it has come out you will all see just how strong Michael was, and how capable he was of putting on a brilliant show. He truly was going to reclaim his title as the one and only king of pop, he would have risen to his former glory, he was going to light up the world. His death was the most tragic event of the year, this world really needs someone like him, our planet is heading in the wrong direction, heading to irreversible damage, we need to heal the world, Michael really wanted to do whatever he could to heal the world, wherever he went he would do whatever he would to make that place better than when he arrived.

Michael did so much for this world, and everyone was so ungrateful for his amazing work. Not only did he give us all an amazing give of music, and sheer creativity and genius, he helped people all over the world. He did so much for the environment, for the starving people, people with aids, people who are less fortunate than he was. He did whatever he could to help this world. and what did the world give back to him? people accused him of being a pedophile, because he helped sick children who were dyeing of aids and cancer. People called him a bad parent, because he got caught up in the excitement of the moment. Michael was the best father you could ever imagine, he was the most devoted parent in this world, there is nothing he would not have done for his kids, he was always there for them. People called him strange and weird, He was not wacko jacko he was Michael Jackson, you cant compare him to just any regular person, he was extraordinary, he was special, so what if he was a little bit eccentric, that is what comes with such genius. This world was so lucky to have him, but now he has gone, he has been taken away by the lord. The lord has taken his precious son away from this mean world. The world is now a better place because Michael Joseph Jackson lived.

Michael i love you, I will never forget you
