When released later during the ongoing year, the next iteration of Windows Phone will include new features aimed at providing users with great new experiences, and the Twitter and LinkedIn integration that just got showcased is one of them.

The company has already made available a beta version of this Windows Phone flavor, called Mango, so that developers can start building applications for it, but these features were not present there.

However, Microsoft has included it in more recent builds of Windows Phone Mango, it seems, and also decided to unveil some more info on the matter.

In the video embedded below, the Program Manager in charge with the social notifications and with the filtering functionality in Mango explains how things work.

The integration is said to be pretty straight forward, but there still are a series of details that were not unveiled.

The social capabilities in Mango will offer users the possibility to choose what will be displayed in the updates flow, so that they would look only at LinkedIn posts, or only at what is happening on Twitter.

The Feeds Filtering option is the one responsible for this. All social networks are listed there, so that users can select the network they would like to follow.

The Social Notification experience was enhanced as well, all linked to the Live tiles on the screen. There is also a Notifications feed, which will show when people interact with the user on any of the social networking sites, and offers them the possibility to respond.

It's still uncertain whether the sharing options would work similarly with what the owners of handsets based on other mobile platforms can enjoy at the moment or not, but more on the matter will certainly become official soon.

Have a look at the video embedded below to learn more on the topic, and stay tuned for additional details as they become available.
