On October 21, a hacker managed to hijack the official Twitter account of Malindo Air, a Malaysia-based airline. A week has passed since the attack and the hacker is still posting his own messages on the account.

Immediately after the account was hijacked, the company posted the following statement: “Dear All, our twitter account has been hacked. Please do not entertain the hacker. We will get to the bottom of this problem. Thank you.”

However, their attempts to recover the account have not been successful. Over the past days, the hacker has been sending out all sorts of messages. Some of them are funny, but others could be considered offensive by the airline’s customers.

Initially, he posted a tweet saying that the company was giving away 100,000 free seats to make up for the incident. Now, he acts like a community manager that wants to ruin the organization.

The company hasn’t posted any updates regarding the situation on its Facebook account.
