He gets hearts racing as Emmett Cullen in “The Twilight Saga” and most of his charm is not down to his killer skills, it has been said. Kellan Lutz, as fans must know, is the proud owner of a body that most men would kill for and, as anyone can imagine, it is the result of hard work, lots of dedication and some careful dieting, as the hottie reveals for Social Life magazine.

The actor, who came to international prominence following his appearance in “Twilight,” the first film in the franchise, says he’d be more than happy to share his advice with fans but that would probably take too long. What he does recommend instead is always keeping busy and avoiding becoming a couch potato. It’s thanks to this motto that he has managed to get the kind of hard-rock abs that many men can only dream of – that and, well, some dieting, Lutz says.

“There’s a lot of advice that I could give but what works for one person might not work for another. I just exercise regularly and try to eat healthy.” the “Twilight” star says for the aforementioned publication. Personally, he works out whenever he can with whatever equipment comes his way. “There’s no method to my madness. High protein meals are important and I love eggs and chicken so I try to eat that almost every day that I can.” he explains.

At the end of the day, the young and admittedly very good-looking actor adds, all that matters is that one keeps active. It’s inactivity and unhealthy foods that take their toll on our body, so it’s them we must steer clear of, Kellan explains. Even if we don’t have a method – like he doesn’t either – it’s highly recommendable that we work out whenever we can. And, we might as well add, even if we don’t get a body as ripped as his, at least we’ll know for sure we’re staying healthy by keeping active and eating well.

“I love fruits so I always have fruit in my kitchen to snack on. I would suggest finding some sort of cardio that you enjoy. I hate running so for me it’s swimming. Stay as active as possible and don’t just sit in front of the television; do push ups or sit ups during the commercials. Even a little hard work goes a long way.” Kellan Lutz concludes by saying.
