As those of you out there with somewhat of a penchant for PC gaming and related accessories might remember, back in late 2010, Tt eSPORTS, a division of Thermaltake, unveiled the Shock Gaming Headset, and now, only a couple of months later, the company's already announced its successor, namely the Shock One Gaming Headset. According to Tt eSPORTS, the Shock One is, without a doubt, the most advanced headphone set in the company's range, featuring DTS 5.1 Virtual Surround Sound and Dynamic 40mm Speakers.

However, these are only a few of the novelties brought about by the Shock One model, that also brings about multiple Ear-Pad Cushions and a leather headband pad, thus being able to deliver an enhanced level of comfort during long gaming sessions.

The peripheral comes equipped with an in-line volume control box, placed on the 3-meter USB cable connecting the headset to the computer, which will make it extremely easy for gamers to control the device's settings while being engaged in some fierce online of offline “battles.”

Moreover, it offers some pretty impressive specs, including here a frequency response of 20Hz~20 Khz, an impedance level of 32 ohm, as well as a sensitivity level of 114+/-3dB, while supporting a maximum input of 100mW.

Plus, the Shock One also packs a bidirectional microphone with noise cancellation (extremely useful for communicating with team-mates in raid-type and co-op gaming scenarios, that are so popular these days), featuring an impedance level of 2.2 k ohm, a frequency of 100~10KHz, plus a sensitivity level of -45dB+/-3dB.

Sadly, Tt eSPORTS has not provided any info regarding the Shock One gaming headset's pricing or availability for the time being, but we certainly hope that they'll do that as soon as possible, since this thing will certainly garner the interest of quite a large number of gamers.
