Toshiba has definitely come out in full force today, at least on the laptop front. After, yesterday, it warmed up by unveiling several dynabook Series notebooks and netbooks, the PC maker has, today, brought out the heavy cavalry. One of the generals leading the onslaught is the Satellite A665, a 3D-capable notebook. Now, the company has sent out the rest of its troops, with some of the more noteworthy being the nimble Satellite T215 (11.6-inch) and T235 (13.3-inch). These two ultrathins are backed up by the M645, a multimedia-oriented, durable mobile system.

The T200 series models employ AMD processors. The T215 boasts an Athlon II Neo single-core or dual-core chip, paired with 2GB of RAM, Radeon integrated graphics and a hard disk of 320GB. The T235 is almost identical, except that it has up to 4GB of RAM and a Turion II Neo CPU at its heart. Other specifications include full-sized keyboards, LED-backlit 1366 x 768 displays and the Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.

The other noteworthy release on Toshiba's part, the Satellite M645, is also mindful of style, but places a greater emphasis on raw performance. For one, the CPU is chosen from a range of more powerful Core i3, Core i5 or Core i7 models. Additionally, the display is larger (14 inches). Furthermore, the graphics solution is not limited to just the integrated GPU. In fact, Toshiba decided to implement the high-end NVIDIA GeForce GTS 310M or the 330M, backed by Optimus technology for power efficiency. Not only that, but the machine boasts a palm rest with a glossy trim, a raised-tile keyboard and a durable textured surface on the cover.

Other specs of the Satellite M645 include DDR3 memory, an optical drive (DVD or Blu-ray), a multi-gesture touchpad, WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet and even WiMAX. As for pricing and availability, this multimedia solution, along with the T200, will start shipping on June 20, priced at $730 and $470, respectively.
