Accidents do happen, especially when you catch someone off guard. This happened to Randy Jackson years ago, when he walked in on Tina Turner and his girlfriend at the time, and he ended up shot, he reveals.

Randy recently did a Q&A on Twitter, taking questions ranging from the will his brother Michael Jackson left behind to whether he thinks there was a plot to kill him to take over his music catalog.

Among the Michael-related questions was also one about the time when he was shot by singer Tina Turner: yes, that’s exactly what happened, Randy wrote on his official Twitter page.

“Yes, Tina Turner shot me. I have the scar to prove it,” Randy told one follower when asked if the report was accurate.

“Having said that, there was no violence on my part, nor have I ever owned or carried a weapon,” he added.

The incident happened when he walked in on Tina with another woman, whom he was dating at the time.

“I went to Tina’s house to see my girlfriend. I guess I caught them off guard. Hmmm.... Next question,” Randy tweeted, leaving a lot of room for reading in between the lines.

“It was in the Eighties. And I don’t hold a grudge against Tina, she's a great artist an asset to our industry,” Jackson added.

Speaking of accidents that also involve guns, some time ago, Charlie Sheen too recalled an old incident of which he’d been accused of being responsible: when his fiancée Kelly Preston was rushed to the hospital with a gunshot wound.

He never shot her, Sheen revealed while on his much controversial tour, as we also reported at the time. She picked up his pants in the bathroom, his revolver fell from the pocket and discharged, injuring Kelly in the arm.

Later on, Kelly herself confirmed Charlie’s story, saying he wasn’t even with her in the same room when the gun went off.
