EA has just announced three new downloadable games which will be released for all the major platforms, the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, through their own online services, including the PlayStation Network or the Xbox Live Arcade.

EA is getting ready to release blockbuster games like Criterion's Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit, Visceral Games' Dead Space 2 and many other big titles, in the near future, and is no doubt working on other high profile releases, including DICE's Battlefield 3.

At the same time, though, EA is betting big on downloadable games, and really wants to attract those that can't really buy full pledged $60 games.

As such, three new titles, Warp, The Fancy Pants Adventures and Gatling Gears have been unveiled for the three major platforms, the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

First off, Warp is developed by indie studio Trapdoor, and is a stealth-action title which features "a sci-fi world with a distinctive art style, addicting levels, hazardous traps and challenging puzzles."

It will feature a retro top down perspective and will be released in 2011.

Next up, we have the intriguingly-named The Fancy Pants Adventures, which is based on an extremely popular browser-based side scrolling game.

The standalone product will have a brand new game world, a fresh story and multiple gameplay modes, in order to attract people.

Last but not least, Gatling Gears is a dual-stick shooter, which wants to be the spiritual successor to Greed Corp, which was released at the beginning of 2010 for the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network.

This new title will be "set within the same Mistbound universe featuring signature elements like collapsing land, walker units and warring factions," all in order to challenge the players and offer a great experience.

All three downloadable titles will be arriving on the aforementioned platforms next year, so expect more details as we approach their release dates.
