ColorWare will make it possible for the new iPhone owners to bring some color in their lives together with the new mobile phone purchase. People will have the chance of choosing from almost 30 color combinations to dress their handset in.

The iPhone looked sleek and elegant in black when first images of it have been revealed for the world to see. As stylish as black may be, Apple has gotten us used to a wide variety of colors with their iPods, so why should the iPhone be any different? In fact, choosing one of the almost 30 color combinations, your personal handset has high chances of setting itself apart from the close to one million such devices which have been sold until now.

When there are so many new iPhone users going by, just owning such a mobile phone is no longer enough to make you stand out. With the same amount of functionality coming from the handset, people will now have the chance of adding color to their touchscreen phone.

Other than the colors which are added in the phone's case, there is no further upgrading, as the handset keeps its previous performances. ColorWare uses X2 coating technology in order to add the colors to the iPhone's case. This means that a scratch resistant liquid plastic coating is applied to the coating. The technology is being exclusively used by ColorWare and is ensured not to fade in time, as it also blocks UV rays.

The customization process costs USD 150 if the customer chooses to apply it on the iPhone he currently owns. A new handset already customized can be purchased for USD 650 for the 4GB version and USD 750 for the 8 GB one. Such a process can take up to 10 days, a long time for a new iPhone owner to have to stand being apart from his device.
