14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft has just let loose a series of charts with the most popular games on its Xbox 360 platform and, to the surprise of almost no one, the three most played games on the platform are all part of the Call of Duty franchise.
The Xbox 360 is a platform dominated by hardcore games and thanks to the newest charts from Microsoft itself, this fact is again highlighted.
Based on the biggest number of unique users, the most popular Xbox 360 game is Call of Duty: Black Ops, followed closely by the newly released Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and then by the much older Modern Warfare 2.
Shooters continue to dominate well after the Call of Duty titles, as Halo: Reach and Battlefield 3 round up the top five, followed by The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
