At first, this phone was designed specifically for the British military and only for them. However, after recognizing the benefits this device can bring, it looks like The Medical Phone Ltd. has decided it should be on sale on all market segments.

Also known as the phone for life, the iCEphone brings together features never before tried in a combined form on mobile devices, such as the cross-platform medical software package and fully featured 3G touchphone specs. Normally, the iCE Aid application would be enough to impress us, and would have certainly become an appreciated service on its own. Nevertheless, the manufacturers did not settle just for that, and also added the micro notebook capabilities and the GPS navigator.

Taking one feature at a time, the micro notebook could be regarded as a pretty revolutionary feature since it packs 4 main devices and allows you access to almost anything you could think of. In order to help out as much as possible with the tasks at hand, the phone features a Windows Mobile micro-notebook, games player with multiple trigger, a GPS satellite navigator and the fully featured 3G touchphone.

Moreover, this Quadband GSM, HSDPA support Medical Ltd. creation combines a 3'' (400x240 pixel) touchscreen, a 3.1 Megapixel camera, the GPS system earlier mentioned, Wi-Fi connection, dual SIM card support, a mouse/track pad and a 532 MHz CPU. In order to make it really irresistible, the iCEphone also includes a QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth support and the Push To Talk application.

Since the other attribute of this device is saving lives, it packs an emergency button that notifies competent helpers that you have “declared” you are in trouble, and reveals your location at the same time. Also, should you be in need of medical advice, the device will be most helpful, telling you the exact actions you must undertake to save your, or someone else's life. Also, the iCEphone will be recording your actions and creating a full account for the medical staff.

Since it was originally created for military purposes, you can rest assured that this is a tough phone, being said to survive drops of up to 1.2m, and still be fully operational even after being dropped in the ocean.

As noted above, this Medical Phone Ltd creation has just been approved for mass production. Since this is a mobile that's most reliable should you want some extra insurance on your trips on rough terrains or when you embark on dangerous “activities,” the price of $1,000 becomes a more than reasonable one.
