The other day, word got out that Oksana Grigorieva had taped an interview with Larry King, in a bid to show the world how “compelling” a case she had against Mel Gibson. New documents reveal that the actor is now asking for full custody of their infant daughter Lucia.

As we also informed you at the time, the judge assigned to the case warned the Russian singer that she risked losing Lucia’s custody if she breached contract and spoke to the media about the situation before the case was closed.

Grigorieva chose to disregard the warning and, accompanied by a lawyer, sat down with King. Among the revelations made: Mel punched and kicked her, threatened to kill her and brandished a gun in front of her and the kids (she also has a son by Timothy Dalton).

Now, Gibson has already filed the papers to strip her of custody of Lucia, TMZ has learned, on the basis that she’s been slandering his good name in the media.

“TMZ has learned Mel Gibson’s lawyers will appear in court on Monday and ask the judge in his custody war to award him sole custody of baby Lucia... this according to court documents,” TMZ reports.

Gibson will also be asking the judge to considerably limit Oksana’s time with Lucia, presumably in order to “punish” her for speaking to Larry King.

“According to the documents, in addition to attempting to take custody away from Oksana Grigorieva, Mel’s lawyers will ask Judge Scott Gordon to award her visitation, but only with a monitor. And Mel’s lawyers want the judge to deny Oksana any overnight visits with the baby,” TMZ says.

“Mel’s lawyers argue in the documents that Oksana’s false and derogatory statements to the media about Mel and the attempt to sully his character show she is not acting in the best interests of Lucia,” the same e-zine notes.

According to reports, because of the aforementioned Larry King interview and the recommendations of the judge, Mel actually stands good chances of seeing his requests granted.
