You'd better not steal this phone

There's a significant difference between Asian phone manufacturers and US or European ones. While phones in the US and Europe boast better cameras or screens, the Chinese and Japanese seem to be preoccupied with something completely different, like anti-theft features.

The Tianyu B832 mobile phone comes with some pretty useful anti-theft features that might actually help you recover your phone or in the worst case, block it so that the thief won't be able to use it.

If the person who stole the mobile phone changes the SIM card, he/she can be tracked down pretty easily.

The mobile phone will send a SMS to your old phone number, and provided you go get a replacement SIM card with the same number from your operator as soon as possible, you will be able to use the information in the SMS to track the thief down.

If the phone does get back on the network, it can be locked remotely from a computer, thus ensuring that the thief won't be able to use it.

Aside from that, the phone does bring some usual features like a 2.4 inch screen with a QVGA resolution, a 2 megapixel camera that can be interpolated to 3 megapixel or used as a webcam if connected to a USB port and a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion with support for up to 1GB memory cards.

The phone also features stereo speakers, Bluetooth with A2DP profile and a built-in 2.5 mm earphone jack, so yes, it is pretty much worth stealing. It has been released in Hong Kong and China and supposedly you can go get yourself one for $225.
