The cyberwar between Indian and Pakistani hackers continues with another mass defacement

It’s no news that Pakistani and Indian hackers are in a constant cyber battle in which each side claims to be the rightful owner of the controversial Kashmir region.

Indian hackers part of Team Nuts defaced 150 commercial websites, most of which, according to Voice of Grey Hat, belong to Pakistani businesses. The main reason for this mass defacement seems to be revenge against the attacks performed by Pakistanis on Indian websites.

“This deface is to thank our brothers!! Thanx to Paki brothers, for free penetration testing on Indian cyber space,” reads the sarcastic message.

It’s worth noting that the defacement page posted by the hackers does not replace the sites’ index page, instead a separate page called “nuts.html” was added.

At press time most of the sites still hosted the hackers’ webpage.
