14 DAY TRIAL // After the 4th of July celebrations, word got out online that country singer Taylor Swift might be dating none other than the model son of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Patrick. As it turns out, she is dating a Kennedy but it's not Patrick, but Conor Kennedy.
People magazine has confirmation of the blossoming romance, together with photos that leave no trace of doubt as to their relationship being more than just platonic.
“Now it appears that Conor Kennedy, the son of Robert Kennedy Jr. and the late Mary Kennedy, is actually Taylor's love interest. He is pictured just to the right of Swift in the same photo – and the two have been spending lots of time together,” People writes.
The photo in question shows the two taking a romantic stroll, with Conor holding Taylor by the waist, while she grabs on to his hand.
“On July 25, Swift, 22, and Kennedy, 18, enjoyed slices at Kennedy family favorite Marcella's Pizza in his hometown, Mount Kisco, N.Y., and 'walked out hand-in-hand,' according to a source,” People further writes.
Photos snapped on that occasion are available online as well.
“Days later, the pair grabbed pizza again and visited with his grandmother, Ethel Kennedy. And on July 29, they lunched with friends at Baxter's on Cape Cod where she ate chicken fingers and sat next to Kennedy. Swift 'was smiling a lot and she looked happy,' says an observer,” the same media outlet further notes.
As the magazine puts it, both Conor and Taylor are rather smitten with each other, with the singer admitting in a recent interview she was “starstruck” when she first met the Kennedys.
The feeling might not be mutual, if we're to believe reports online: after reports spread that Taylor was dating Patrick Schwarzenegger, word also emerged that his mother Maria Shriver was very much against the romance because she thought Taylor was too old for her son and prone to break his heart.
Now that she's dating not Patrick but Conor, Maria might have warmed up to her a bit more, we might presume.
