Taylor Lautner and Selena Gomez’s Secret Date in Vancouver

Speculation about “Twilight” hottie Taylor Lautner dating teen pop star Selena Gomez has been making the rounds for almost two weeks. However, until now, confirmation of the so-called romance was nowhere to be had, which meant that it was nothing more than yet another rumor. Over the weekend, the two went out for dinner in Vancouver and acted very much in love towards each other, Lainey Gossip writes, partially confirming the rumors.

According to the aforementioned source, 16-year-old Selena and 17-year-old Taylor went out for dinner over the weekend and then even caught a movie, which, in all fairness, sounds pretty much like a date. In between the dinner and the movie, the two walked hand in hand down the street, stopped to sign autographs and not for a second tried to hide that they were together, which could mean that they’re (silently) confirming the rumors, too.

“Details about their adorable weekend date: Saturday night: they had dinner at the Cactus Club in Coquitlam, emerged in great spirits, both with big smiles on their faces, Selena held on to Taylor’s arm. At one point, after they had become separated and she fell behind to sign autographs, she ran back up to join him, throwing her arms around his neck, both bursting into giggles.” the e-zine says.

Taylor, as fans must know, is currently in Vancouver shooting for “New Moon,” the sequel to the highly successful “Twilight.” Speaking of which, the young actor recently revealed that working on the film is harder than the first time around, especially since he’s supposed to be wearing very little clothes in some scenes and the weather is not the best in this sense. Add to this the high expectations of the public and we get what Taylor describes as a “nerve-wrecking,” but overall fun, experience.

“We’re here on the set of New Moon, and we have very high expectations, I guess you could say, so yeah, it’s a little nerve-wracking at some points, but for the most part it’s just really exciting to be back and going.” Lautner was telling the media a couple of days ago.
