As if this could be true...I assume Robert and the rest of the cast has read the Twilight Series. Anyone who has knows that Jacob Black has the main story line of New Moon. Robert would know that he doesn't have a big part in the movie until the end!!! So there wouldn't be anything to worry about.

2. IF YOU WERE REALLY A TWILIGHT FAN and if he was an informed actor and actually read the book he would know that Edward is gone for most of this book.

This movie TWILIGHT is geared for teen audiences. Stephanie Meyer did a great job of ensuring that morals were there for impressionable young people -- and that people can choose good over evil -- and that people are what they are and how they were born but they all have choices to do good for others -- then WHY -- is the media propagating that the actors are involved in jealosy, anger, violence. WHY is the media reporting that young actors -- Kristen, Robert and Nikki are all sleeping with boyfriends or with women in Robert's case. Just why. Twilight is a great series even for Catholics such as my daughter and myself; however, I don't think that reporting these actors in their lifestyles helps the youth of today.

I think anyone working for the tabloids will do anything to make a big deal over nothing. Its been proven many times before. In Roberts defense, I don't think he has anything to worry about when it comes to his "superstardom" fading; in acting or singing. Not only is he a wonderful actor, but he has an AMAZING voice! I, personaly, would LOVE to hear more music from him. He is very talented both on screen and musicaly, so he has absolutely nothing to worry about. He will ALWAYS be wanted..

In Taylors defense, everyone should be allowed their time to shine. He is a wonderful actor as well and I am looking forward to seeing what he has to offer in New Moon. And, you can't blame him for girls wanting him.

In any case, both men are very gorgeous and very wanted by many women out there.... so neither of them have anything to worry about. ;)

That is the stupidest thing i have heard. a fight for fame! these are rumours people,its not true. the fatcs are that they are actually in real life good mates, rob knows he is still a HUGE star, i adore him. yes taylor will be big but so will rob what with his big return at the end of New Moon, every girl will adore that. I seem to recall Rob being quoted as saying that he was looking forward to "New Moon" because his character was hardly in it. I'd say this is all just bull. I doubt he would mind the spotlight being off of him for a change.

I think this is bulldust. Robert knew before getting into New Moon he was not going to be in most of the film. He would also know that He will be in the entirety of the next 2 films if the books are made into movies so why would he care if he doesn't get all the attention for a mere couple of months. I think he comes across as more mature than that. And coming from an Edward fan, there is no way his (Robert's) "shot at stardom was only short lived". It will only mean true twilight fans will be even more excited for his return at the end of the movie. Man, these tabloids will create any kind of story to make money. They have only been shooting a month and there's so much drama the people have created. 1st off, Whether or not he showers every day, that's his parogative, he'a guy man. He always looks great regardless..and 2nd off - if he does have a crush on kristen Stewart and is a little jealous, who cares. It goes on every day in socity that people are jealous and intimidated. I'm sure he's a smart guy and will be professional enough to handle himself with dignity and charm. And that's what's going to make him a huge star! Both in music and in film. I agree with most of the people here. I highly doubt there was a "physical" fight. It was probably some phony press story. I feel so bad for Robert, though. Poor guy. But even if he is jealous of Taylor, all his stardom will come back in Eclipse. And we have to let Taylor have his claim to fame, Taylor really got cheated out of lines in Twilight. So it will all balance out...I hope.

I can really sympathize with being shy. Stuff like this can really break your spirit. It's worse than those catty girls in high school who make up crap about people and spread it around. I get so nervous around people that I don't see on a daily/weekly basis, I clam up and then start sputtering out things that don't make any sense. That really was a crutch in HS, and I was an easy target for the catty girls. These tabloids are like the catty girls on steroids! They are never going to leave these people alone. Their only edge is that someone out there will believe it, and yes, there are people out there that will believe it.

Then there are those of us who could really give a crap if it's true or not. It isn't going to taint our view of the actors or the movie. Frankly, I've read reviews of "Little Ashes", and I think that will put an end to all the stupid drama over Robert Pattinson. i think both men are very good actors. but taylor has been in the spotlight before with minor roles so to him it might not be anything to be considered the "leading man" in new moon. i still think that even though his character Edward, may not show up in the movie as much as Jacob, he is still the focus of the movie...and anyone who reads the books will know just how important Rob's role is in this movie. i dont think that Rob should let this bother him what so ever!

Ok folks, this is all studio hype to fuel interest in the movie and to distract fans from continuing to kvetch about the change in director, etc. It's like dangling a bright shiny object in front of a baby to re-route their attention.

The bottom line is that none of us will truly know what's going on, as we are not on set, nor should we really care. Let the people do their jobs without wondering whether or not they smell bad or if they're too short, or screwing each other behind the scenes. It's genuinely none of our business, and it doesn't matter.

Kill all of the nonsensical speculation, wait for the movie to come out, and enjoy it then.

These stories about Pattinson being consumed w/worry over loosing his mojo are so ridiculous. Anyone who's ever seen Pattinson in an interview would quickly realize that he just doesn't give a crap about all the attention and thinks he never had any mojo to begin with...and he's not bothered by that. I don't think his self-deprecating comments are a put-on. It seems like, by his words and actions, he's not at all interested in impressing people. In fact, I'd say he's more interested in repelling people, actually. Robert is a great actor, not only in twilight. the movie got fame and is a great success because Robert and Kristen make a good( fantastic) movie couple and they show great acting and chemistry.
