T-Mobile UK confirmed its branded Vivacity smartphone a few days ago, but did not disclose any info regarding the phone’s release date.

Customers expecting the device will be happy to know that T-Mobile UK has just announced the availability of the Vivacity for £99 (155 USD or 115 EUR) on PAYG.

However, those who want to grab this one for free can do so, but they will be required to commit to a £10 per month, 24-month plan.

Manufactured by Chinese handset maker ZTE, the T-Mobile Vivacity is an affordable smartphone that is delivered with Android 2.3 Gingerbread on board.

The phone features an eye-catching design and offers users a range of multimedia and productivity features, as well as great value for money.

T-Mobile Vivacity sports a 3.5-inch WVGA TFT capacitive touchscreen that boasts a 480 x 800 pixels resolution to offer crisp and vivid images.

No word on the phone’s processor, but there’s a high chance the device is equipped with an 800 MHz CPU. Furthermore, it packs 512 MB RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

In addition, the smartphone comes with a 2GB memory card in the sales package, but the carrier has yet to confirm it.

With 3G+ and Wi-Fi support users will be able to access the Web while on the go for browsing, downloading apps, or uploading social network.

There’s also a 5-megapixel camera on the back that features LED flash and video recording capabilities, as well as a secondary front-facing camera for video calls and chats.

Paul Jevons, director of Products and Devices, Everything Everywhere, said “The T-Mobile Vivacity gives you everything you want from a smartphone. It offers the latest Android software, a large, high resolution touchscreen display and a stunning design – perfect for anyone looking for premium performance and great value for money.”
