Issue solved fast, the carrier announced

Mobile phone carrier T-Mobile USA seems to have a rather rough year when it comes to its services. Not only did its Sidekick users suffered from a service interruption due to a server outage that nearly caused some of them the loss of all personal data, or did its network go down a few weeks ago, but now another network outage has hit its users.

However, the wireless services provider did acknowledge the issue, stating that its network in Southeastern United States and Puerto Rico was the one affected this time: “T-Mobile engineers and rapid response teams are working urgently to restore full service in impacted areas as quickly as possible,”a post on the company's forums stated. “We apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing our customers.”

The good news, if it can be seen this way, is that only a part of the network has been affected, and that the outage this time is of a lesser magnitude than the last month's one. Following the aforementioned forum statement, the company stepped up and announced that it managed to restore the service to almost all of its users, if not to all. This indeed can be seen good news.

“Some T-Mobile customers in the Southeastern United States and Puerto Rico experienced intermittent service degradation for voice and data services earlier today. T-Mobile has identified the equipment malfunction and service has been restored for the majority of customers. Some customers in Alabama, Tennessee and Georgia may still be experiencing service disruptions while T-Mobile continues to work to restore service as quickly as possible. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience to impacted customers in the region,” the operator noted.

As many of you might already know, T-Mobile managed to score highest in consumer satisfaction studies over the last few quarters, yet this series of outages might affect its image. However, the carrier might actually enjoy patient subscribers, and they could easily forget these issues with their favorite carrier's network.
