Along with its new postpaid individual and family plans, T-Mobile USA has announced two new prepaid plans.

The unlimited Monthly4G plans are now available for customers for prices starting at $50 per month. Still, as soon as the high-speed amount is used speeds will be slowed for the remainder of the month.

Monthly4G plans provide access to wireless service for 30 days and require customers to use LTE devices to achieve 4G speeds.

The new plans are meant to make it easier for consumers to take advantage of the carrier's portfolio of Android, Windows Phone and BlackBerry smartphones without the need to sign a long term agreement.

Consumers today want more value and simplicity in how they purchase wireless,” said Cole Brodman, chief marketing officer, T-Mobile USA.

And that’s exactly what we’re delivering with our new Monthly4G plans providing customers with the nationwide network, great prices and a choice of any of our latest smartphones,” added Brodman.

Customers who choose the one of the two Monthly4G plans will be able to enjoy unlimited Talk, unlimited Text and unlimited Web service on their smartphone from T-Mobile.

In addition to the $50 per month Monthly4G plan that offers unlimited talk, unlimited text and unlimited Web with the first 100 MB of data at up to 4G speeds, T-Mobile also offers a $70 per month plan that offers customers unlimited talk, unlimited text and unlimited Web with the first 5 GB of data at up to 4G speeds.

Even though the new Monthly4G prepaid plans have become available since May 22, T-Mobile will continue to offer a 1500 Talk and Text plan with 30 MB of data for $30 per month, as well as PAYG (Pay-As-You-Go) plans for as low as 10¢ per minute for voice calls.
