One of the handsets that the wireless carrier T-Mobile is expected to launch in the near future with Google's Android operating system on board is the MyTouch Slide, rumored to be a QWERTY handset that will add up to the myTouch offering the carrier already has in place. The device has made it to the headlines before, along with a rumored second version of myTouch 3G that will sport a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and now we also have the chance to take a look at it via some photos that leaked on droiddeveloper.com.

It seems that the MyTouch Slide, which also emerged previously under the name of MyTouch2 or Espresso, will come with a spacious slide-out 4 row QWERTY keyboard, a trackpad (that reminds us of RIM's BlackBerry devices) with an integrated push button, and the same (ARM11) 528MHz Qualcomm processor that is available with the HTC Magic (myTouch 3G) and Hero (the successor of which Espresso was said to be).

At the same time, the QWERTY myTouch should also bring forth a touchscreen display that boasts a 320 x 480 pixel resolution, a camera with LED flash (of unknown resolution for the time being), the 3.5 mm headset jack myTouch 3G v1.2 should include as well, a 1,300mAh battery and a microSD memory card slot which is said to be accessible without the need to remove the battery.

According to the rumors on this handset, T-Mobile might be set to deliver it to the market sometime in May, most probably on the 17th of that month. Google's Android operating system should also be on board of the phone, but no details on which flavor of the OS will be included emerged for the time being. However, one should expect for Android 2.1 to be there, and that HTC Espresso UI spotted before might also make an appearance on it, if T-Mobile won't launch it as a “with Google” phone. Have a look at the images available with the MyTouch Slide and don't forget to check back again for more updates on the matter.
