Motorola KRZR K1 is now available through most of the wireless carriers in the US that matter, including Verizon, Sprint, At&t and now, finally, T-Mobile as well. Just like the other K1 GSM version that At&t/Cingular is offering, T-Mobile's handset comes with stereo Bluetooth support but does not feature the external music controls or 3G data that the CDMA versions from Verizon and Sprint include.

Other features are the same for all of the K1's out there and include a 256k color screen with a 176 x 220 pixel resolution, external CSTN color display with a 96 x 80 pixel resolution, SMS, MMS, Email, IM, 2 megapixel camera with video recording capabilities, quad-band GSM and EDGE support.

The handset can also be used for listening to music as it comes equipped with a media player supporting MP3, AAC and AAC+ file formats, 20MB internal memory as well as a MicroSD card slot ensuring that the user always has enough space at hand for storing his/her music collection.

Motorola's K1 sports a fair battery life lasting for up to 400 minutes of talk time or 350 hours on standby on one charge. It measures 103 x 42 x 16 mm and weighs 102 grams. So now, regardless of what carrier one prefers, it?s safe to say that the Motorola KRZR K1 will be available. But, why should one get the KRZR from T-Mobile? Because of its exclusive color obviously. All of T-Mobile's customers as well as the color-conscious will now be able to get a silver quartz Motorola KRZR K1 for $150 on a contract.
