Merry Christmas to you too, Nintendo!

In case you didn't know how to make the entire gaming community envy you, we've got the perfect way: just go to a nearby game store and purchase the Super Mario Galaxy demo. After getting the disk, it's time for a major surprise, because you'll in fact be the owner of the full game. I'm wondering if Nintendo has done this by mistake or on purpose, as they did with the Excitetruck title.

The lucky gamer bought his copy of the "demo" from the local GameCrazy store, as reported by GoNintendo. GameStop will be getting these disks in November, so you'd better keep your eyes peeled for that so-called demo version of Super Mario Galaxy. In the meantime, be sure to check out the lucky gamers' quest, as he tries to finish the game before the official launch. For now, we're only dealing with a hand, a voice and that magical disk we've been waiting for...

I bet that he'll be posting tons of gameplay videos, to our despair and in case you want to keep it spoiler-free, I advise you to avoid watching them. Was the gamer lucky to find that full game, or will all the demos be full versions of Super Mario Galaxy? We'll find the answer in November and I bet that the game's ending video will already be posted online till then. Not that it would make any difference, since the storyline's not so important in such games, as it was in Halo 3 for example.

While PC gamers are fumbling with the demo's code and files, trying to discover new hidden content and I'm re-re-playing God of War: Chains of Olympus, also searching for unlockables, Nintendo fans are blessed with an unique type of "demo". A week ago, we were allowed to download the Xbox 360 Guitar Hero III, in its demo version and now Nintendo delivers full games instead of demos... Where's the world coming to?
