Street Fighter is one of the most popular fighting franchises, having a large number of fans all over the world thanks to its great characters and interesting gameplay mechanics. With the most recent iteration, Street Fighter IV, the series has gained critical acclaim and has once more one of the most played fighting games in recent times.

Now, as part of its pledge with the PC Gaming Alliance, Capcom revealed a few weeks ago just which of its major blockbusters would appear on the PC and when that would happen. Street Fighter IV will also appear on this platform at the beginning of summer, bringing, alongside its retail package, a lot of interesting additions.

But, as always, PC gamers need to worry about their own configuration and whether it is up to the task of running Capcom's fighting game. Luckily, the Japanese company has just unveiled the minimum and recommended PC specifications that need to be met in order to have a great Street Fighter experience.

Minimum

OS: Windows XP CPU: Intel Pentium4 2.0GHz or higher RAM: 1GB or higher HDD: 10GB of free space or more Video Card: DirectX 9.0c/Shader3.0 or higher compatible, NVIDIA GeForce6600 series, ATI Radeon(TM) X1600 or higher or higher, VRAM 256MB or higher Sound: DirectSound compatible, DirectX 9.0c (or higher) compatible Input Devices: Mouse, Keyboard

Recommended

OS: Windows Vista CPU: Intel Core2Duo 2.0GHz or higher RAM: 2GB or higher HDD: 10GB of free space or more Video Card: DirectX 9.0c/Shader3.0 or higher compatible, NVIDIA GeForce8600 series or higher, ATI Radeon(TM) X 1900 or higher, VRAM 512MB or higher Sound: DirectSound compatible, DirectX 9.0c (or higher) compatible Input Devices: Gamepad, Xbox360 Controller for Windows

The minimum specifications aren't pretty high, but you'll be in for a basic experience, without all of the effects available in the game or the glamor of the characters' special moves. Also, it will be interesting to see just how Capcom will implement the game's control scheme with a keyboard and mouse layout.
