Yes, a new patch for Strategic Command 2 Blitzkrieg is now available for download. According to official word from Battlefront.com and Fury Software the main feature of this patch is the addition of an all new Global World War II Campaign and Map.

Strategic Command 2 Blitzkrieg now contains an epic sized, WWII campaign featuring not just the European Theatre but the whole of Asia-Pacific, according to Battlefront.com, complete with North and South American continents, all of Africa and a greatly expanded Eastern Europe and Indian sub-continent! As far as new forces go, those include Japan, China, New Zealand and Australia, the developer confirms.

You have more details below, but if you just want the patch for now, click HERE to download it yourself and HERE is a 10,000x3000 sized hi-res composite image of the in-game playable world map that is offered in the new Global Campaign, also made available by the developers.

Patch Details: The v1.08 Strategic Command 2 Blitzkrieg Patch is "all-inclusive" and contains all of the fixes, changes and improvements from earlier patches and updates. This patch can be applied to any previous Battlefront.com English Language version of the game. Patches for other versions will be released separately. This patch is NOT for the Weapons and Warfare Expansion.

Special events for the new campaign include:

- Saboteurs from German submarines interrupting US Oil supply in the Gulf of Mexico - Fights between Kuo Min Tang and Communists that weaken China during the Japanese campaign in Manchuria - MI6 Special Forces operations that disrupt Japanese supply in the Pacific - Revolts in French Indo-China that can disrupt Japanese operations

Battlefront.com also says that by purchasing the latest v1.08 version of Strategic Command 2 Blitzkrieg currently on sale, you'll automatically be getting this new Global Conflict Campaign. This campaign does not require the new Weapons and Warfare Expansion to play. Here's a demo for it though.
