Street dance may never be the same again now that Pioneer has introduced the Steez line of portable music players, a sort of modern-day boom-box that was designed to relieve you from the tyranny of static music.

Unlike most of their portable counterparts, Pioneer's new creations are not just music players but portable remix stations with all sort of cool operating modes like the “Auto Battle Mode” or “DJ Mix Mode.”

The latter is especially interesting as it lets the user selects the music genre he wants to groove to and mixes the songs accordingly after analyzing stuff like beat positions, melodies and speed.

There are also others special features available such as Tempo Control, 8-Beat Skip, Dance Cue and Dance Boost and all of these can be controlled either directly from the player or via the supplied remote.

Three Steez versions will be available in November when these “mix-stations” are expected to hit the streets with prices ranging between $299 and $499 (216 and 361 Euros).
