14 DAY TRIAL // If you’ve already OD-ed on all things Star Trek, you might skip this one. Two new videos have emerged online and, while they hardly include new footage, they’re pretty awesome even so.
Above is the Japanese trailer for “Star Trek Into Darkness.” It’s pretty much like the version we’ve already seen, but it includes a couple of scenes (the blink-and-you-miss-it kind) I don’t remember seeing before.
Below, embedded at the end of this post, is a brand new viral with more of Benedict Cumberbatch’s exquisite voice, though no new footage either.
This time, he’s focusing on Spock and how he’s always been an outsider on the Enterprise.
He, John Harrison, promises he will use Spock’s biggest dilemma (that of choosing between following his heart or his reason) to his advantage. He sure sounds dangerous.
“Star Trek Into Darkness” will be out this May.
