Square Enix has announced the lineup of games it will be showing off next week at E3 2010. The list includes both games published under its own brand and those that bear the Eidos name. The booth will also feature entertainment software developed by third-party entities that have partnered with the company for publishing and distribution.

The Square Enix games that will be seen at E3 are Final Fantasy IV, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, Kingdom Hearts: Re:coded and Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light. Final Fantasy XIV, one of the highlights, is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game staged within the realm of Eorzea that should be released this year. Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep is an action RPG for the PlayStation Portable and serves as a prequel in this very popular franchise.

Under the Eidos name, Square Enix will be presenting Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days, Deus Ex: Human Revolution and the downloadable games Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, The Tales of Bearsworth Manor: Chaotic Conflicts and The Tales of Bearsworth Manor: Puzzling Pages. The most important titles from this list are clearly Kane & Lynch 2 and Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The former is a third-person shooter that is to be launched on the 27th of August, 2010, while the latter is an action RPG prequel to the first Deus Ex and is set to be released sometime in 2011.

The two partner titles announced are Dungeon Siege III and Front Mission Evolved. Dungeon Siege III is an action RPG developed by Obsidian Entertainment that will focus on story and choice. Front Mission Evolved is a third-person shooter spin-off to the Front Mission strategy series that will allow players to dress in mech suits and enter wage war. The title will be launched on the 17th of September, 2010.
