Nexus S with support for 4G WiMAX connectivity might not be the only new smartphone that Sprint is set to announce officially later during this month, as more of them are rumored now to be included in the carrier's list. We already knew that Sprint was set to announce a new device in the not too far future, since the carrier already unveiled plans to hold an event on March 22nd, but specific details on the matter did not emerge until now.

However, recent reports on Sprint's plans for that day suggest that we're not looking at a single device to be unveiled for the carrier's network, but at least at three of them.

For starters, we have the CDMA flavor of Nexus S, which is expected to include WiMAX connectivity, in addition to the usual 3G capabilities.

The Wi-Fi Alliance certified not too long ago two new devices from Samsung, the SPH-D600 or SPH-D720, and one of them might be the said Nexus S smartphone.

Another handset that should make an appearance on Sprint's airwaves would be the EVO 3D which, as its name suggests, is a 3D-capable version of EVO, though exact details on it are not available for the time being.

Since the first 3D-capable phones and tablets were already unveiled to the world, it would not come too much as a surprise if Sprint aimed at having such as device available for its customers soon.

The third device that the wireless carrier might unveil to the world as soon as March 22, during the said event set for CTIA, is the EVO View, a tablet PC.

This might be a CDMA flavor of the HTC Flyer, which would indeed prove highly appealing on Sprint's network when added to the already available EVO devices.

All in all, it appears that Sprint is gearing up to steal the show at CTIA, provided that the rumor would indeed pan out. Stay tuned to learn more on the matter.
