Gameloft is the second mobile game developer and publisher that teams up with Sprint to offer the carrier’s customers new Sprint ID packs. Glu was the first mobile game developer to offer Sprint ID packs featuring popular games, widgets, wallpapers and specific content.

Starting this week Sprint customers will be able to download and install Gameloft’s new Sprint ID Packs featuring the company’s leading social games, wallpapers and widgets.

It appears that the French-headquartered company split its offering in two Gameloft-themed Sprint ID packs, such as the HD Games ID Pack and Top Games ID Pack.

These are only available on select Android smartphones and are exclusively aimed at Sprint customers. With Gameloft’s new ID packs, mobile gamers will be provided with a whole new mobile experience via a personalized bundle of widgets, apps, wallpapers and other content.

Given the expansion of the Android customer base, we’re happy to collaborate with Sprint to bring an innovative way to connect to gaming,” said Baudouin Corman, vice president of Publishing for the Americas at Gameloft.

According to Gameloft, both Sprint ID packs offer a range of content and popular games, in addition to access to the most recent news and updates.

The two ID packs contains the following games: HD Games ID Pack -  features access to high-definition games including Dungeon Hunter 2 HD+, Assassin’s Creed HD+, Let’s Golf 3 and Order and Chaos Paymium HD+ for devices such as Samsung Epic  4G, Samsung Epic  4G Touch, Samsung Galaxy Tab and Mototola Photon 4G.

Furthermore, the Top Games ID Pack provides access to a series of games such as Iron Man 2, Gangstar 2, N.O.V.A. and NFL 2011 and is fully compatible with devices such as Sanyo Zio, Samsung Transform and LG Optimus S.

Obviously, both Gameloft ID packs are free to download with an Everything Data plan from Sprint.  Up to five Sprint ID packs can be downloaded at a time, so customers can switch between them as they see fit.
