Should be in stores soon

Sprint will soon bring the RUMOR by LG smartphone for all its subscribers. The handset has been considered by some people the best thing, along with the iPhone, but the truth is that it doesn't stand a chance when compared to Apple's phone.

RUMOR by LG is a pretty powerful device, either way, even if this does not mean touchscreen, huge display, great connectivity or even a strong operating system. The specification list for this handset is small and, from what we know up to this point, little impressive.

The QWERTY keypad and the low price are two aspects that many people will find appealing. It targets especially the younger audience that needs it for entertainment and less for handling business features. Because of this, the great keypad will be used mainly for typing text messages and emails, rather than continuing work on that presentation started in the office.

The RUMOR by LG smartphone will also pack a 1.3 megapixel camera that will not manage to impress anyone with its low quality shots. It's great for capturing memories and sending them further on, through the email, but nothing more.

The phone will also be able to support some of Sprint's services, such as Sprint's Social Zone one and Sprint Navigation as well and thus the user will always manage to get around. Other than that, it also brings Facebook along with other social networking sites and Picture Mail as well. The smartphone also includes a music player and comes with a 4GB microSD card for making sure that the user does not run out of personal data storing space.

RUMOR by LG will be available in two color combinations: black/blue and white/silver, one fresh and daring, while the other is considerably more stylish. The phone will be available at Sprint for USD80 with a two-year contract and USD50 rebate.
