Sprint also took a safety measure to make sure that nobody will trick them into giving out exotic lands to anyone surfing the web and will ask the user to contact an office that has nothing to do with Sprint. This means that the operator is not involve din the actual island selling, but just uses this offer in order to gain notoriety and cast it on its BlackBerry 8830 smartphone.
One amusing aspect about the advertising for the handset is a note that states that the actual island may vary, leaving open the possibility of receiving a snake inhabited swamp in case all the exotic locations run out too soon.
