Sprint brings a one in a lifetime opportunity targeted towards the 100 wealthiest people on the planet. The operator offers the first 10.5 Million smartphone, with an island included.

The time when free Bluetooth headsets
were enough to convince customers that a specific mobile phone is the best possible choice that they can make seems to have passed. Sprint now offers a limited edition of BlackBerry 8830 handsets, along with the unique occasion of also receiving an island along with it. The price has also been pumped up a bit, as to make it profitable for the operator too.

BlackBerry 8830 will be available from now on with an exotic island included, the very own love nest of a billionare. Customers will be able to make their own private island purchase online, at the www.privateislandoffer.com.

Sprint also took a safety measure to make sure that nobody will trick them into giving out exotic lands to anyone surfing the web and will ask the user to contact an office that has nothing to do with Sprint. This means that the operator is not involve din the actual island selling, but just uses this offer in order to gain notoriety and cast it on its BlackBerry 8830 smartphone.

One amusing aspect about the advertising for the handset is a note that states that the actual island may vary, leaving open the possibility of receiving a snake inhabited swamp in case all the exotic locations run out too soon. It's a bold and innovative idea of making a campaign for a mobile phone and you can watch the video below, right after the jump.

The BlackBerry 8830 is available for the price of USD 300 with a USD 100 mail-in rebate and a two-year service agreement. That's one considerably high price, but next to the 10 million special offer, it sounds like a real bargain.
