If you had any doubts that Sprint might be getting the Apple iPhone later this fall, you should reconsider your position, as more proof that things will indeed go this way has just emerged.

Apparently, the wireless carrier has already started training its employees on the new device, which shows that the release date should not be too far at all.

Put side by side with the news on Sprint blacking out any vacations for the first two weeks of October, the new info makes it all clear: the iPhone is on its way to this wireless carrier, and will become available in roughly a month from now.

Sprint has reportedly started to inform its sales team on the move, stating that the iPhone will arrive on shelves next month, and that it will be released on standard Sprint data plans.

Moreover, these plans are said to include a $10 data smartphone premium not specific to the iPhone.

At the same time, info leaked on the possibility that Sprint will add the 4G iPad to its offering, though no further details on the matter has emerged for the time being.

What should be noted is that the briefing was said to be on iPhone 4, the latest version of Apple's iconic device, and not on the upcoming iPhone 5 flavor.

On the one hand, there is the possibility that Sprint was talking about the iPhone 4 so as to make sure that no details on the new device version leaked into the wild.

Verizon, the US carrier that added the iPhone 4 to its offering in early 2011, did a similar move, instructing staff on the launch of iPhone 3GS.

On the other hand, there is the chance that Sprint would be getting the previously rumored iPhone 4 refresh this fall, the so-called iPhone 4S, and that the iPhone 5 model will be launched at the wireless carrier only next year.

AT&T, Sprint and Verizon were said to be on their way to launch the fifth-generation iPhone at the same time, something that might happen only next year, as the initial rumors on this suggested (they also mentioned the said iPhone 4 refresh for this year, with global connectivity on board).

One way or the other, the iPhone is clearly on its way to Sprint, and enthusiasts who have been long waiting for the iconic device to arrive will soon be able to purchase it, regardless the version it will carry.
