Ubisoft is set to reveal a brand new Splinter Cell game next week, at E3 2012, in the form of Splinter Cell: Blacklist, which will act as a sequel to Conviction although it will feature plenty of classic stealth elements.

Ubisoft is preparing quite a few big announcements for next week’s E3 2012 conference in Los Angeles, chief among which being Splinter Cell: Blacklist, according to a member of the NeoGAF forum.

The poster says that a special promo video is being shown internally that depicts the protagonist of the Splinter Cell series, Sam Fisher, in his trademark infiltration look with a full body suit and even night vision goggles.

The game will be shown at E3, where Ubisoft will reveal the actual reasoning this new story and shed some light on what happened after Conviction’s ending.

As of yet, no other details are known, but it seems that Splinter Cell fans should certainly be on the lookout next week, when the E3 expo opens its doors in L.A.
