February will be a busy month, considering that the CP+ 2014 show is starting in Yokohama (February 13 through February 16) and the Winter Olympics will be taking place in Sochi, Russia from February 7 through February 23.

These are the perfect events for every camera manufacturer to introduce and test its latest models. We already know that Fujifilm will reveal its first weather-sealed X-series mirrorless camera, the X-T1, tomorrow (January 28), while another Nippon manufacturer, Olympus, will unveil the entry-level E-M10 interchangeable lens camera the day after, on January 29.

According to MirrorlessRumors, Sony and Panasonic are also preparing to reveal their latest mirrorless camera models in the first week of February. The new cameras that will come from these two electronics makers are Panasonic's GH 4K, which the company has already showcased at CES 2014, and Sony's new NEX-6/7 successor, the rumored A7000.

In addition to that, Nikon is preparing to introduce a few new compact digital cameras, while Canon might announce a completely new DSLR series. Nothing is known for the moment about next month's release plans of Samsung or Ricoh.
