The Consumer Electronics Show is the perfect occasion for well known manufacturers to boast their latest products, and in most cases, the number of new products introduced by companies at CES is not at all small.

Sony Ericsson are also presenting a number of interesting new products among which a Bluetooth headset and a Bluetooth music receiver.

For the people out there who truly appreciate a wireless music experience, Sony Ericsson presents the MBR-100 Bluetooth Music Receiver, that enables the user to play music in hi-fi quality by simply plugging the receiver into a hi-fi stereo or car stereo and streaming the music directly on the Bluetooth-equipped mobile phone.

The MBR-100 is compact, light and easily portable and features a rechargeable battery, thus enabling users to carry it around with them at any time. It can work with almost any audio device or in the car, due to the fact that it comes with two different cables, a RCA cable and a 3.5 mm input cable.

Once the phone is paired with the MBR-100, the user simply has to walk into its range to accept an automatic invitation on the phone's screen and listen to music. The design was not neglected either. The MBR-100 has a glossy black finish and will reportedly last for up to 12 hours of talk time and 300 hours of standby time.

The Bluetooth music receiver was presented at CES 2007 in Las Vegas along with the HBH-PV705 Style Edition headset, and will be available starting Q1 2007. There is no information regarding the price of the MBR-100 so far.
