Most likely a new music dedicated mobile phone

Sony Ericsson is one of the top mobile phone manufacturers and has in the last period of time managed to attract quite a few young customers with its colorful, music dedicated and high quality camera handsets. So there are quite a few people out there (including me) that are quite enthusiastic about new Sony Ericsson handsets being released and are on the lookout for all the rumors that show up.

But this is honestly getting ridiculous because four rumored Sony Ericsson mobile phones in just one day is really too much. You've seen the Shinobu and Nicole revealed earlier today, followed by some rumors of a P700i mobile phone that was 'leaked' most likely unwillingly, by a Xml file on the Sony Ericsson site.

Just as in the case of the latter, the W999i and some of its details were also revealed by the Xml file on the manufacturer's website. The handset is said to come with a screen with a QCIF resolution, 3G capabilities and a NetFront browser. Unfortunately, this is all the info available for now, but hopefully more will show up soon.

Since it will be a part of the Walkman phone family it is also bound to come with quite a few music-dedicated features, media player, Bluetooth with A2DP, FM Radio and all the usual stuff. In the meantime, a user on the esato forums has designed a W999i concept phone, which comes with some pretty nice looks.

According to its designer, it would sport 8GB of memory and WiFi for connectivity. Of course, the W999i will probably look nothing like the concept phone. Still, it is nice to look at a design that might end up being an actual phone in the future. As for the W999i, we've yet to see if it will ever get released and find out what features it sports.
