According to the latest news on the Web, two more Sony Ericsson mobile phones have recently passed through FCC's courtyard, namely the W518a and W995a. The first of the two Walkman devices, the W518a, was spotted in the wild about two months ago, and now we learn that it might be heading towards AT&T's airwaves, and the W995a is rumored to share the same fate.

The Sony Ericsson W518a comes in a clamshell form factor, and is expected to deliver to users 3G connectivity, along with quad-band GSM and dual-band HSDPA, as well as a 2.2-inch QVGA internal display capable of providing a 240x320 pixel resolution, coupled with a 1.1-inch external OLED display that should be able to deliver a 128x36 pixel resolution.

Other features that the Walkman phone should come around with include a 3.2-megapixel photo snapper, as well as M2 memory card slot for additional storage space, GPS capabilities, stereo Bluetooth connectivity, not to mention the Walkman Player 3.0, or the external music-dedicated keys.

The phone's documents are reported to have showed support for some of the AT&T's services, including MediaNet and AT&T Music Store, which suggests that the handset is making its way to the carrier's offering, though there are no details on when that might happen or on a possible price tag it could feature.

The second Sony Ericsson phone to receive FCC approval while on its way to North America is the W995a, which comes with support for quad-band EDGE plus WCDMA bands II and V, meaning the 850 and 1900MHz frequencies than can be found in the US and Canada. There are no further details on the specs of the handset, nor on the carrier that might add it to its offering, though AT&T and Rogers might be two operators that won't say no to it.
